Experience: Jim practiced for over 8 years as a plaintiff-side personal injury and medical negligence attorney and had over five years of medical defense experience before joining Kent & Wittekind in December 2007. Prior to becoming a civil litigator Jim was a criminal defense attorney where he conducted over 15 felony and misdemeanor jury trials, including cases involving felony murder, conspiracy to sell drugs and DUI. He also negotiated settlements in two major federal fraud cases involving a savings and loan officer and multi-million dollar cotton subsidies.
