Ted Tallefson is from Ludington, Michigan. Ted is a 1994 graduate of Ferris State University’s PGA Golf Management Program, has over twenty years of experience in the golf business. He began his professional career at the Oakland Hills Country Club as an Assistant Golf Professional for 11 years teaching and merchandising. In December, 2004, Ted became the Head Golf Professional at the Muskegon Country Club, where he served for nine years prior to joining the team here at Kent Country Club. He was instrumental in developing their golf instruction programs and has expertise in event management, tournament operations, inventory management, and customer service. One of Ted’s biggest passions is teaching the game of golf to others. He grew up watching his father play golf and learned to play the game in his own back yard. His goal here at Kent is to develop the teaching program and to inspire current and new members to fall in love with the game of golf.

T he benefits of Kent are unique. Founded in 1896 with the focus of blending together two strong, yet simple, foundations; family fun and a really great game of golf. 118 years later, that focus continues to drive Kent generation after generation.
