Your investment in the KCBCC is important to your business and the economic development of the county. Membership in the chamber provides advantages designed to meet the business needs in the areas of business promotions, networking, advertising, education, and legislative representation. Inquiries from consumers looking for products and services could lead them to your business. In an effort to provide increased clientele and profits for your members, individuals are referred to chamber members.

The need to have a chamber of commerce to address the needs of the African American businesses in Kern County was evident. Efforts were being made in the northern part of the valley however; a need to focus on Kern County was sought after. Several officers from the San Joaquin Valley Black Chamber of Commerce, based in the Fresno area; came to Bakersfield and met with some interested business owners to plan a local presence.

: KCBCC provides resouces and material to understand your credit score and what it means to your business. Additioally KCBCC has established a working relationship with Consumer Credit Counseling Service to provide workshops and classes to repair an establish credit where needed.
