Description
Kernco, Inc. was founded in 1978 to perform research, development, and production of high technology electronic/electro-mechanical instrumentation systems, specifically Cesium Beam Frequency Standards, for the Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system. In addition, Kernco has designed, produced and delivered 10.23 MHz precision quartz crystal oscillators currently on orbit in the GPS Block IIR satellite program. Kernco's GPS Clocks and Oscillators exhibit outstanding performance over extreme environmental conditions. Kernco's most recent development efforts have been focused on the design and development of Laser-Based Atomic Clocks based on Coherent Population Trapping (CPT) technology. Kernco continues to develop reliable time and frequency devices, as well as a variety of cost-effective standard and custom engineered solutions for commercial and space-qualified vacuum applications where size, weight, and reliability are important.
