Basil White founded the company in 1948. Randy White, his son, joined the company as a partner in 1960. John Kersey, CPA and owner, has been with the company since 1975. Kersey and Associates, P.C. provides accounting and related services to individuals and small businesses in northwestern Pennsylvania and the surrounding area. K&A keeps up with the rapid pace of industry and technology, servicing businesses from the corner drug store to industries unique to northwest Pennsylvania, such as timber harvesting and oil & gas extraction. Building upon sound principles and solid managerial styles, K&A serves over 1,000 individual and business entities from our convenient downtown location.Our team is comprised of professionals with extensive experience in business related accounting services. Because business needs change, staff is kept up-to-date by utilizing continuing professional education (CPE) courses provided by both outside seminars and in-house training in Taxation, Auditing, Accounting, Bookkeeping and Payroll.
