Kewadin has given over $20.4 million to local communities in the Upper Peninsula as part of their semi-annual two-percent payments since 1993. These payments helped local governments with projects such as street construction, police and fire upgrades, the purchase of emergency response vehicles, recreation and health services, community projects and school projects.
