Keyes Gallery

Description

The stream of visitors into Keyes Gallery during the recent Art Walk seemed endless. Mostly comprised of college students and younger people, wave after wave descended upon the gallery between the hours of 6 pm and 10 pm. As for an official head count, by the time we locked the front door, our trusty counting machine read 1,341. The artwork in the current show, Watercolor Fancy and Free, was very well received and the artist, Sharon Hinckley, who traveled all the way from La Jolla, California, to be with us (as well as conduct a painting workshop), happily mingled and talked with many of the visitors. All in all, a very busy and successful Art Walk!
