Keys Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member-owned community credit union. We are chartered to serve everyone who lives or works in the Florida Keys.Established in 1940, Keys Federal is the oldest financial institution in the Keys. Keys Federal Credit Union was founded by a small group of civilian employees of the Navy in 1940 as Navsta Employees Federal Credit Union. At that time, membership was limited to civilian employees of the Navy.We have grown and expanded our membership many times since then. In 1993, we officially changed our name to Keys Federal Credit Union. Not long after that we expanded our membership eligibility to everyone who lives or works in the Keys.
