Keystone is a privately owned company that was founded circa 1890 by Mr. Jesse S. Keys in the Afton section of Madison, New Jersey. Originally known as The Keys Folding Paper Box Company, the Keystone Folding Box Company was incorporated in 1908 by Mr. Charles A. Chase and Edwin T. English. Keystone moved to Newark, New Jersey in 1910 and later, 1923, built a factory at its current location.
We offer a full range of products, in a wide variety of stock sizes and shapes. Custom-designed solutions are always available to meet virtually any need.
Today this historic company is owned and operated by the Hartman family, who have been directly involved with Keystone for more than 60 years. The very same unwavering philosophies and standards for quality still guide the company today…and will lead Keystone into the future.

Keystone Folding Box Company manufactures and designs secure, compliant paperboard packaging including blister cards, heat-seal blister cards, folding boxes, specialty envelopes and counter displays. One of Keystone’s most well established products is the protocol tested and approved Key-Pak™ F-1, a child-resistant, senior-friendly blister card. A traditional fold-over blister card, Key-Pak is suitable for clinical trials and offers ease of manufacturing without any additional components or assembly. Keystone is also a design center and source for non-paperboard packaging components.
