KGD Systems was established in 1986 to provide a full service Revenue Accounting product which includes computer software, hardware and skilled revenue accounting labor and management. KGD Systems is headquartered near the Orange County/John Wayne Airport in Newport Beach, California. The two principals of KGD Systems are Linda Gray and Jim Kubiak. They have provided "turn-key" Revenue Accounting for the past 25 years. KGD Systems has extensive expertise in Airline Revenue Accounting, and has developed a proprietary Revenue Accounting System which can handle a diverse range of unique airline accounting requirements. The system has superior internal accounting controls and has been reviewed by Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. KGD Systems performs key functions on behalf of the client airline as it relates to the testing of Air Traffic Liability (ATL) as well as tax and fee audits such as PFC's, TSA Security Fees, etc. Cost per item processed is KGD Systems' billing method. This allows revenue accounting to be a variable cost which can easily be budgeted for and allows full flexibility for changes in passenger volume. The airline does not need to be concerned with the impact of fluctuations in traffic volumes as it relates to staffing levels, facilities, computer hardware and software.
