James R. "Jay" Young - Chief Executive Officer Mr. Young received his B.B.A. in Marketing from Angelo State University in 1985. After a successful career as a stock broker and in marketing, he formed King Operating Corporation in 1996 for the exploration and development of oil and gas properties. Mr. Young has had a life-long involvement in the oil and gas industry and is the fourth generation of his family to devote their careers to the industry. Mr. Young ’s business insight and determination have yielded successful negotiations for complex oil and gas leases and producing properties. Rodney W. Wren - President Mr. Wren received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas State University and has worked in the oil & gas industry for more than 29 years. He has marketed geophysical exploration tools (both domestically and internationally) which include seismic acquisition, gravity and magnetotellurics. Mr. Wren has been involved in the acquisition of storage facilities, pipeline and processing facilities, developing grassroots gathering systems and the acquisition and divestment of producing properties. He has worked on acquisitions ranging from $3 million to $5 billion. Mr. Wren has broad management experience in the energy sector and is a member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, Natural Gas & Electric Power Society of North Texas, Natural Gas Society of East Texas, ADAM and is Board Of Director of the National Energy Services of America Organization.
