Prior to joining Kinney & Lange, Alan worked on patent law matters in the legal department of Norand Corporation (now Intermec Technologies, a Unova Corporation), a major manufacturer of portable data collection and communication systems.

Mike has ten years of experience as a mechanical engineer with experience in the aerospace, electric motor, and generator industries. Prior to and during law school, Mike worked as a senior mechanical engineer at Aero Systems Engineering in Saint Paul, Minnesota. While at Aero Systems, he collaborated with multi-discipline teams of engineers to design wind tunnel and jet engine test cell components.
