Kirklin & Company, LLC. was founded in 1991 to serve the insurance and risk management educational needs for the college fraternal community. In 1999 Kirklin & Company, LLC joined Hobbs Group, LLC., a nationwide insurance brokerage and consulting firm providing property & casualty insurance, employee benefits, executive benefits and specialized technology services to compliment their client risk management programs.Hilb Rogal & Hamilton acquired the Hobbs Group/Kirklin & Co. in July of 2002. As a result of the merger, Hilb Rogal & Hobbs (HRH) was formed creating the seventh largest insurance brokerage firm in the United States with 120 offices nationwide.Even with the various mergers and acquisitions, the primary focus of the Omaha office remains serving the insurance and risk management needs of college based student organizations and alumni associations.
