Our Grandfather and Grandmother Joseph and Florida Chapdelaine came from Canada in 1924. In 1925 Joseph started Jos. Chapdelaine, Builder and through hand work and dedication to build a quality home, Joseph Chapdelaine became one of the areas finest builders. His homes are still very respected in Springfield, Longmeadow, and various locations in Western Mass. The name Chapdelaine is often used in the same description of homes for sale, as a testament to the quality of a Chapdelaine home. The start of the 2nd generation occurred in the 1940's and 50's.

As a family, we have been building and remodeling homes since 1925, as well as over a span of 3 generations. The building process revolves around the client, their needs, wants, and their budget. They never try to push a client towards an outcome that can benefit the company. The client will formulate a list of needs and they will help design a project around these needs, in conjunction with the site.
