I have one dog (Shotzee) and two cats (Missy and Opie)...all rescued animals. 4. I have had the same best friend (Nancy) since I was 15 years old. 5. My favorite holiday is Veterans Day...Thank you! 6. My favorite vacation is sitting on a beach with a good book. 7. My favorite food is steak. 8. I am of Dutch-Irish descent (that explains the love of tulips and green beer). 9. I have been to 49 of these United States... only Alaska is missing. 10. They call me "The Fun Grandma". My Favorite Radio Moment... One time when I was on the air on the weekends, like normal, Bill Thomas was doing a remote up in Guthrie because Johnny Lee was performing. As the interview started, Johnny Lee said, "I was listening to Chrystal on my way over here..." That was so exciting because such a star was listening to me. So it was a year or so later that Johnny was coming back to OKC to do a concert with Merle Haggard. Yes. I was there. I mean, if he's going to listen to me, well then, I'm going to listen to him. Right?
