NELLIS AFB, Nev. -- After spending seven months overseas, 180 Nellis based airmen returned home Tuesday. Members of the 820th Red Horse Squadron were greeted by loving friends and family members. The troops spent time serving in Iraq and Afghanistan helping with everything from construction support to electrical upgrades. Family members say they're thrilled their loved ones are finally home safe and sound. "It's hard I missed him a lot but he's back now," said Jordan Jahn, Airman wife. The squad has been busy since the start of the War on Terror. The unit commander says they deploy about every eight to 10 months.
