Since obtaining a Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois in 1988, Todd has lived and worked in Chicago. Todd has practiced Architecture for over 20 years, specializing in investigation and repair of existing buildings. He has extensive experience in evaluating distress conditions in both historic and contemporary exterior cladding (masonry, concrete, EIFS, windows and curtainwalls), and in developing repair designs and construction documents.

Klein and Hoffman works closely with owners, building and facility managers, developers and other design professionals to inspect, assess, repair, rehabilitate and restore building facades, curtain walls, windows and roofs. We provide professional solutions to eliminate potential safety hazards, restore structural integrity, correct moisture control problems, and upgrade building appearance. We are a recognized specialist in the renovation and restoration of vintage and historic structures.

Klein and Hoffman has extensive experience providing engineering services for the restoration and rehabilitation of building envelope components constructed of stone, brick, terra cotta, concrete, steel and wood. The deterioration of a building façade is usually caused by flawed materials and/or original detailing, poor quality control during construction, ill-advised and deferred maintenance and harsh environmental conditions.

Jon has over 30 years of diversified experience in structural and architectural engineering for a myriad of building types. Over the past 25 years he has focused primarily on building exterior wall systems including design consulting, peer reviews, project troubleshooting, investigations and condition assessments, repair, retrofit and rehabilitation design, structural and architectural engineering analysis and design. As Chairman of the Board and CEO, Mr. Boyd is responsible for general oversight of corporate operations for Klein and Hoffman, Inc.
