John is a graduate of Boston College and received his Masters of Architecture degree from The Boston Architectural College. He has been a licensed and practicing architect since 2004. John has managed projects as both an architect and a contractor and has been successful guiding projects from inception to completion for over 15 years. He believes every successful project requires clear communication and collaboration between the owner, architect and contractor in order to define and then meet or exceed expectations.

The Barn was originally constructed in the late 1800s on the Seminator Farm and served as a ‘poor farm’ for Burlington. After renovations were carried out by KBA, the barn was transformed into a functional non-denominational chapel providing space for funeral services associated with the Pinehaven Cemetery, which is now located on the old farm.

In accordance with MSBA guidelines, KBA is providing OPM services for study, design and construction of a new Model Middle School. The grade 6-8 building will be constructed within twenty feet of the Town’s existing middle school. Project scope includes full site development, utility service extensions, building construction, furniture and equipment procurement, owner relocation, development of new playing fields, and abatement and demolition of the existing middle school.
