Koch Communications is dedicated to assist companies with their financial, corporate communication and training activities. Over his 30-year career, Richard Koch has been involved in communicating company messages both externally and internally. Not only is Mr. Koch an experienced communicator of financial, medical, engineering and management information, he is also a public speaker and trainer to help others communicate their message more effectively. Most recently Mr. Koch was Director of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications for Crane Company, a $3 billion diversified manufacturer of highly engineered products. Since joining the company in 2005, Crane's stock price has increased over 50%, surpassing its previous high stock price by over $12 per share. Prior to that Mr. Koch worked at Olin Corporation, a $2 billion diversified manufacturing company for 27 years in various positions including Vice President of Investor Relations and Public Affairs. He was in charge of investor relations when the company achieved the highest stock price in its history, and was involved in setting up two spin-off companies, three stock offerings and two major debt offerings. During his career, he worked for three different chairmen/chief executive officers and three chief financial officers. Earlier in his career at Olin, Mr. Koch was director of training and human resource development. Mr. Koch served as a member of the board of directors of the National Investor Relations Institute. Prior to joining Olin, Mr. Koch was a department head, officer and instructor at the US Navy Nuclear Power School. In addition, he worked as an engineering economics analyst at Sargent & Lundy Engineers. Mr. Koch has been a certified Emergency Medical Services and Mass Casualty instructor for over 20 years. Mr. Koch received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BS Civil Engineering from Bucknell University. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer.
