St. Norbert College is a Catholic, liberal arts and sciences college founded in 1898 by a young Dutch priest, Fr. Bernard H. Pennings. Pennings was a member of the Norbertine Order, which is now more than 850 years old. St. Norbert College is the only Norbertine institution of higher education in the world.The College is in the unique position of being among the first campuses in the country to sponsor a college parish. Catholic students enrolled in St. Norbert College are invited to be active members of the Old St. Joseph Church parish.St. Norbert College encourages the personal, intellectual and spiritual development of all students who are challenged to learn and serve globally.
