May brings the first good clam tides of the year but generally there are two clam tides each month during the summer. Come stay with us at our Alaska fishing lodge during one of these times, and we’ll outfit you with the latest clam gear so you can try your hand at this wonderful sport. We provide clam guns (similar to a suction cup attached to a handle), shovels, pails and boots for your clam finding adventure. We’ll show you the best places to hunt for the delectable creatures and even show you how to clean them back at Krog’s Kamp.
