Laitram Machinery was founded on J.M. Lapeyre’s industry-changing shrimp peeler and is now a leading manufacturer of seafood processing equipment. Since 1949, Laitram Machinery has pioneered durable, high-performance shrimp peeling systems, shrimp graders, steam cookers and chillers that increase efficiency and yield for processors worldwide. Laitram engineers, manufacturing teams, and service technicians draw on decades of industry experience. Further, we use high-quality stainless steel, carefully sourced materials, and state-of-the-art technology to manufacture our equipment.

Intralox is Laitram’s largest division. It manufactures not only the most versatile line of modular plastic belting products but other patented conveying technologies and ARB equipment solutions. The company’s mission is to create significant economic value for customers by optimizing their conveying systems. Intralox’s products and services are ideal for many industrial applications and are widely used in general food processing, meat, poultry and seafood processing, beverage handling, can manufacturing, baking, case and box handling, and packaging.

The OMNI-DIRECTIONAL Sorter handles various types of packages, cases, and other conveyable objects. For more than 10 years, patented Activated Roller Belt™ (ARB™) technology has met the demands for efficient and reliable conveyance systems, while managing amplified throughput within a small footprint. More than 4,000 ARB installations globally have decreased overall project costs and added functionality for our customers by filling the gaps in their line layouts with Intralox solutions.
