Lasertel, a subsidiary of Selex Galileo Inc., was founded in 2000 to design, manufacture, and produce high-power semiconductor lasers for a variety of markets including defense, industrial, medical and graphic arts. Lasertel designed and constructed a state of the art 10,000 square foot, vertically integrated semiconductor laser manufacturing facility including wafer growth, processing and packaging within the first year of operation. Initial products were qualified and in full production shortly thereafter.

Our 35,000-square-foot MBE-based production facility in Tucson, Arizona, uses state-of-the-art equipment and patented processes to deliver standard and custom laser diode solutions that meet the requirements of demanding applications.

Lasertel’s single emitter diodes deliver a wide range of optical output powers with the performance and efficiency that your applications demand. With multiple power levels, TE or TM polarization, and a diverse selection of mount types and wavelength ranges, we manufacture diodes to your exact specifications. With multiple mounted and unmounted configurations, you get the ultimate in flexibility and adaptability for a wide range of applications.
