LTE has extensive experience in conducting methane assessment surveys associated with coal outcrops, leaking production wells, pipelines, and landfills in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region, including Texas, Wyoming, and Utah. Using our state-of-the-art portable accumulation chamber, LTE can delineate areas of fugitive methane gas seepage and quantify flux rates over areas ranging in size from a small pipeline leak to seepage at the ground surface over 50 square miles of coal outcrop.
