Mr. Oei leads the firm's investments in the healthcare sector. He has 30 years of experience in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals industries. Immediately prior to joining L Capital Partners, Mr. Oei was at Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, J&J's venture arm, for more than a decade. While there, he was involved in more than 50 investments, such as in Barrier Therapeutics, Critical Therapeutics, Immunicon, COR Therapeutics, Allos Therapeutics, Neurocrine Biosciences and Shire Pharmaceuticals Group. He has held positions at Merck & Company, Abbott Laboratories and American Cyanamid. Mr. Oei received a B.A. in economics from Union College in New York and an MBA from Columbia Business School at Columbia University.
