Stan Decker, President Stan Decker has worked in the waterproofing industry since the late 1970’s. The company began in Houston, Texas and has enjoyed steady growth for more than 27 years. Field offices operate in Central Texas, Atlanta, and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Stan credits the success of L.S. Decker to the dedicated project managers and field superintendents, many of whom have been with the company since its inception. Stan’s approach to business, which includes doing the right thing, treating people fairly, and going the extra mile to get the job done, permeates the organization. Stan considers himself and the company very fortunate to work with some of the best general contractors and suppliers in the industry. Jeff Barns, Project Manager/Estimator Jeff has worked in the construction industry for 8 years. He joined L. S. Decker in 2005 and has managed projects in Houston, Dallas and Austin. Jeff attended the University of South Carolina where he was captain of the baseball team and appeared in the 1985 College World Series. He also played 10 years of professional baseball with the Angels and Athletics before retiring in 1997. Jeff and his wife, Tracy, have 2 children, Jordyn and Landen. Jim Graves, Project Manager/Estimator Jim Graves has worked in the waterproofing industry for 28 years. He has a bachelor’s degree in Construction from Northeast Louisiana University. He joined L. S. Decker in 1997, and has managed projects in Houston, Austin, Dallas and Louisiana. Jim enjoys fishing and golfing. Al Pasek, Project Manager/Estimator Al Pasek, CSI, CCPR has been in the waterproofing and sealant industry since 1980. He worked in Houston until 1986 and in the Washington, DC area until 1991. Al worked in waterproofing and sealant technical sales as an independent rep from 1991 to 1994, then joined Pecora Corporation from 1994 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, Al worked with Dow Corning. In 2006, he returned to contracting with the L. S. Decker team. Al is a past president and active member of the Houston Chapter of CSI, and is a CDT (Construction Documents Technologist). He is also certified as a Construction Product Representative (CCPR). Al has been involved in projects in Texas, Louisiana, Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. Al is an avid NASCAR fan. Rogelio Tellez, General Superintendent, Houston Rogelio Tellez joined L.S. Decker Incorporated in 1996, although he worked in the waterproofing industry for many years prior. Rogelio is the general superintendent for the Houston market. He is responsible for staffing the jobs, working with the general contractor on the jobsite, and for compliance, safety, and quality control on the project site. Tony Tellez, General Superintendent Tony Tellez has worked with L.S. Decker since its inception. Tony is a general superintendent who has worked for the company in many cities. He has managed projects in New Mexico, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia in addition to assisting in the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth markets. Tony is responsible for communicating with general contractors on jobsites as well as the project managers and estimators in the corporate office; for staffing jobs, and for compliance, safety, and quality control on the jobs he oversees.
