Maria Cariglia has over 25 years of Operational and Management industry experience. She has broad and extensive experience in Pathology, Project Scheduling, Client Services, Six Sigma and Project Management. Maria's energy and professionalism will help to continue our commitment to our clients to provide the highest quality customer service available. She will be working closely with our experienced sales force to increase our efficiencies and promote our industry presence. Maria will also be supporting the day to day operations of LABEX of MA to ensure our client needs are met with professionally high standards. We are delighted to have Maria on our management team.
Founded in 1990, the Orange County Branch of AALAS is a non-profit trade organization, guided by a board of directors made up of representatives from its membership. In addition, the 7 committees are manned by member volunteers whose purpose is to improve communication within the industry, expand AALAS's sphere of influence, and work together on common concerns.
Ed Russo has over 25 years of experience in Vivarium design, construction and management. During his career, he has established a history of on time and on budget delivery of significant facility projects. Ed has directed various facility maintenance as well as security and engineering departments. His capital vendor products procurement responsibilities have lead him to a significant working knowledge of vivarium cages, accessories and facility infrastructures. Through his vision, Ed has created a company that is a global leader providing quality reconditioned vivarium equipment to universities, research centers and contract institutions worldwide.
The Minnesota Branch of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science Inc. was established in 1965 as an organization of laboratory animal professionals, including researchers, veterinarians, veterinary technicians and animal care technicians. Our motto is "promoting training and education of laboratory animal technicians and the public in the use of laboratory animals in research", which reflects our commitment to both science and animal welfare. We accomplish our goals by providing a social and professional network for people working with laboratory animals; training programs; information articles in our quarterly newsletter; access to vendors of laboratory animals and research and animal care products; and public outreach programs.
