Description

The Labette Health Rehabilitation Department offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient programs to attain maximum functional potential for all patients served. Individualized treatment programs are based on timely, comprehensive evaluations. Working with your referring physician, we blend the talents of experts from all phases of rehabilitation medicine to create a wide range of programs and services tailored to the needs of each person. These services include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, a skilled nursing unit, home health, and working with nursing homes and athletes.

The ED has 10 patient care beds dedicated to treating chest pain, trauma, orthopedic and women's health issues. All patients vital signs are monitored through a central monitoring system located at the nursing station. In 2011, the ED implemented an electronic medical record system with tracking boards and mobile work stations to improve efficiency and patient care.

If there is a special day, such as your birthday or anniversary, during your hospital stay, we will be happy to provide you with an individual cake to celebrate your special day.

Labette Health Home Care, a not-for-profit, Medicare-certified organization, can give the help needed to bridge the gap between the intensive level of care received in the hospital, nursing home, or rehabilitation facility, and the home. Our professionals will help make the transition safely and confidently to the patient's highest functional level. We respect and honor the trust you've shown in letting us into your home.

The Labette Health Medication Assistance Program (MAP) is a partnership between you, your Labette Health care team, and the manufacturers of prescription drugs.
