A History Of Excellence Laibe Corporation was founded in 1962 by Alden "Al" Laibe, originally selling well drilling tools and supplies, and a distributor for Cyclone drilling rigs (which became Ingersoll Rand). Mark Laibe joined the company in 1972 and after many years learning all aspects of the business and industry, started the VERSA-DRILL brand in 1989. Jim Hopkins joined the company in 1999 in sales and quickly rose to the rank of President and CEO. It was Al's vision, Mark's leadership and Jim's innovation that vaulted Laibe Corporation to the worldwide industry leader they are today.

Laibe Corporation is a "worldwide leader" in water well, geothermal, exploration, shallow oil/gas drilling rigs and the manufacturer of the VERSA-DRILL brand of drilling equipment. We are also proud providers of Geo-Loop and Mud Puppy products; as well as tooling, well supplies, and drill rig training. Laibe Corporation also supports the US Government & Military as the proud recipient of a Sole Sourced Contract for the US ARMY Water Well Drilling Rig Program of Record in August 2012!
