Student Life at Lamar Community College is dedicated to providing activities and events for all students. We recognize that college is stressful, although rewarding. The goal of Student Life is to provide events to help relieve some of the stress. Student Life is composed of 3 branches: Student Government Association, Work Study Program Planning, and Residence Life. We invite you to come join us and get involved.

Lamar Community College’s goal is to meet the educational needs of youth and adults in academic, technical, and occupational fields. We provide two-year transfer programs that qualify students for admission to their junior year at four-year colleges and universities as well as programs of personal and occupational education for adults.

I am majoring in Business Administration, and this is my second semester at LCC. I am very glad to be here in Lamar. The most wonderful thing I want to point out about LCC is that people in this college are very nice. When I just got here and had some difficulties with adapting to a new place and lifestyle, everyone supported me and my friends so greatly. Even though LCC didn’t have much experience in working with international students they worked really hard and figured out everything. Another great thing about Lamar is that the community is interested a lot in discovering our culture.

LCC’s alumni include an Academy Award nominee, successful businesspersons, ranchers, farmers, professionals, educators, entrepreneurs, professional athletes, and others. Born of a pioneer spirit, LCC is dedicated to providing quality education to help students maximize their potential and succeed in our fast-paced, ever-changing world.

CISCO Network course fee : This fee was established by the Colorado Community College System to provide the funds necessary to support the cost of the Cisco Networking program at the various community colleges. The fee for these courses is $18.25per credit hour.
