Lamb's Loft was established by Dawn Lamb in 1987 in a small building on a main highway north of Wilmington, Delaware. Two years later, Lamb's Loft moved to Claymont, a growing community just south of the Pennsylvania border. Located in a grand historic building located just off the main highway, Lamb's Loft sits atop a hill overlooking the Delaware River. It is the anchor building at the main entrance to the Overlook Colony Development in Claymont, the oldest planned development in the state of Delaware.
