This Prior Lake home has been transformed from an 11 acre prairie lot into a semi-secluded estate setting that is backed by a large pond, swimming pool, guest house, outdoor bar and many recreational spaces. The project was complete in yearly phases starting in the spring of 2005 to the present. Beginning from the design phase the theme was to be a modernistic style home echoed on all side by large gardens and vast lawn spaces. A large pond was excavated to provide soil to create contoured privacy burms topped with clump birch, white pines boulder settings and ornamental grasses. In 2008, a 25' by 50' concrete swimming pool, a two story guest house and large garage was added. In addition, a covered outdoor great room with fire place, stainless steel bar, artificial turf putting green and a boating pier give this yard it's unique attributes. Large lights illuminate the sunken trampoline, basketball court and textured concrete sitting areas that surround the pool. A water feature was added outside the master bedroom terrace and spa area to create the therapeutic sound of flowing water. A koi pond and dog run where constructed to accommodate the pets.
