There are no government licensing standards for translation providers--anyone can set up shop. We carefully select our translators and interpreters from a network of highly-talented professionals with many years of experience in the translation field, in addition to other areas such as engineering, law, medicine, finance, or the humanities.

This is the 1st time Seagrove Elementary has used Language Resources. We had several IEP meetings needing an interpreter. She arrived promptly and was very professional. The meetings ran over the allotted time, but she was very accommodating. She made the families feel very involved in the meetings. As a team, we felt the mothers understood the IEP meeting contents. Language Resources was founded in 1984 as an English as a Second Language (ESL) institute by Kathleen Quinby. Foreign language training, interpreting and translation services evolved from this core business as the needs of the local community grew. Language Resources, Inc. currently provides translation and interpreting services in more than 60 languages . We are a full corporate member of the American Translators Association and a N.C. HUB - Certified Woman Owned Business.
