There are three methods of creating jewelry: Hand-Made, Cast, and Die Struck. Most manufacturers create jewelry by casting as few firms have the capability to create die struck jewelry. Larter & Sons however is one of the few manufacturers that have this ability. The process of die striking produces denser and harder gold than casting. The result is a beautiful finish with a sharpness of design that is not possible through casting. Struck gold permits carving into the ring without the risk of pososity allowing for crisp designs in beautiful and lasting quality. All of the signet rings shown are die struck, which allows for the displaying of a variety of symbols including initials, family coats of arms, and zodiac symbols. All signet ring styles are available in platinum and 14K and 18K yellow and white gold, and carvings can be done in reverse for sealing or right reading for show. VIEW RINGS
