Providence, UT April 25, 2005 —Laser Precision is pleased to announce the continued success of its two-year old program ‘Cash for Kids’; the program has generated over $10,000 cash to date and is expected to reach $12,000 by the end of the school year.Cash for Kids allows schools to earn cash while also teaching about the environmental benefits of recycling. Students collect used, empty printer cartridges (toner or ink both qualify) for the schools in exchange for a cash donation. Funds from the program are put to good use in the local Cache Valley school system providing needy students with resources such as books, field trips and other enriching activities.USU Community Credit Union has partnered up with Laser Precision on this program and has generously matched Laser Precision’s contribution dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. To date, the credit union has donated over $5,000 to the local schools. “We’re very pleased with the success of this program and proud to support schools in the Cache Valley area.” said USU Community Credit Union president Dennis Child.
