Colorado Springs Attorney Tammy W. Akers attended the University of Colorado, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, in 1980. She completed her Juris Doctor Law Degree at the University of Colorado’s School of Law, in 1984. After graduation, she was licensed to practice law in Colorado and began her successful law career.

Active participation in local foundations and associations is an important way for serving the public in addition to her work as an attorney. Tammy is currently an active member in several notable groups, including the Colorado Bar Association, Christian Legal Society, El Paso County Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Foundation.
