All of the physicians providing obstetrical services at Lawrence Family Practice Center have had additional training in obstetrics to provide you with comprehensive, quality care. Whether your pregnancy is proceeding normally or considered "high risk", we will likely be able to provide the services you need. We offer laboratory testing and diagnostic services in our office for your convenience, allowing you to obtain all your care under one roof.

At Lawrence Family Practice Center we provide complete care for the entire family at all stages of life. Our physicians work closely with our physician's assistant to provide seamless comprehensive care for you and your family.

Our mission at Lawrence Family Practice Center is to provide comprehensive, high quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages, with an emphasis on promoting healthy behaviors and developing long–term relationships with our patients and their entire family. We strive to provide these services in a competent, professional manner, treating our patients as we would want our own family members treated, with dignity and respect.

Dr. Chad Johanning, Board-certified in Family Medicine, grew up in Atchison, KS. He is a proud Jayhawk and two-time graduate with degrees in Biology and Medicine from the University of Kansas. Dr. Johanning completed his residency training at Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita where he received extensive procedural training in addition to Family Medicine. Prior to joining Lawrence Family Practice Center in June 2014, Dr. Johanning practiced in Atchison, KS for over 6 years. Dr. Johanning enjoys obstetrics, including high risk and c-section deliveries, pediatric and well child care, colonoscopy screenings and everything about being a family physician.

Heather Yates, PA-C, graduated from the University of Kansas in 1992 with a degree in Human Biology. She completed a Master of Health Science and Physician Assistant Studies at Duke University in 1995. She has been working alongside the physicians at Lawrence Family Practice Center for the last 15 years, providing comprehensive primary care services to our patients.
