Leading Edge Strategies was founded in 2003 by Jeff Price. Today, we are a company focused on providing quality aviation management training and consulting services to the aviation management industry.

Jeff Price holds a graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in adult learning and has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry.

TSA’s recent announcement that they are transferring the guarding of the exit lanes (from the sterile area) from their control to airport control, has caused a lot of heartache throughout the industry, both in terms of policy-making and policy-implemetation. The strategy represents a shift of how TSA has worked with industry since 9/11 and also a shift in security responsibilities.

Kerwin Wilson took over from Brian DeLauter back in 2011 but according to his bio has experience in the general aviation community, as did Brian. He has been involved in the development of the “revised” Large Aircraft Security Program and is reviewing several other programs including repair stations, 12-5 security programs, DCA access program and others.

Mr. Price has twenty years of experience in airport management. He was the manager of Jefferson County Airport, Colorado’s fourth busiest airport, and was also the assistant security director for Denver International Airport from 1994 – 1998. In 2008, Jeff Price completed Practical Aviation Security; a source that has become the industry’s “must have “ book. Specializations: Aviation security, airport operations, airport safety, airport management training, public relations, community relations and marketing.
