Description
Lee's Summit Underwater Recovery Inc (LSUR), a 501(C)3 company made up of all volunteers, who has served the community for over 45 years is changing its structure and looking toward the community for support and sustainability by incorporating three outside independent board members to fill Board of Director (BOD) positions starting in 2012. The Board consists of a total of 5 members and will continue to have Director and Treasurer roles fulfilled by elected Administrative staff positions of Director and Treasurer. Up to three other members will be chosen from the community.
Over 40 Years of Service to the Midwest and Kansas City Metropolitan Area The Lee's Summit Underwater Rescue and Recovery Team was founded in 1966 to help law enforcement agencies recover drowning victims from area lakes and rivers. Today our all-volunteer team is still growing stronger with professional training, and high tech equipment. Interested in helping?
