Dr. Lee Bass Nunn: Dr. Lee Nunn specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on family care. She received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, and graduated in 1995 from the North Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Nunn was awarded the Grover C. Hunter Award for Academic Excellence in Clinical Treatment of Periodontics and the The American Academy of Oral Medicine Award for proficiency and diagnosis of oral medicine. Dr. Nunn served as Secretary and President for the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity and was awarded the Zane Eargle Award for outstanding Senior involvement. Dr. Nunn is actively involved in both dental and community organizations. Dr. Nunn is a past President of the High Point Dental Society. Dr. Nunn is a member of The American Dental Academy, The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the High Point Dental Society. Dr. Nunn and her staff are committed to providing their patients with the highest quality and standards of care. Consequently, they routinely attend Continuing Education courses in an effort to stay abreast of all the newest advances in the field of dentistry. Dr. Nunn and her staff love developing long-lasting relationships with their patients and changing their smiles to improve their self-confidence and quality of life. Dr. Nunn is a second generation general dentist. Her father, Dr. Robert E. Bass, was in private practice for over 30 years. He is currently retired but occasionally returns to assist Dr. Nunn. Dr. Nunn lives in High Point with her husband, Stuart and their two children, Jane and Stuart, III. Dr. Nunn is an avid runner and enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family and close friends. Wendy Koontz, Certified Dental Assistant II Wendy graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 1996 with a degree in Dental Assisting. As a team member for 15 years her gentle, caring concern for your well-being will certainly make your dental visits more comfortable and enjoyable. She is Dr. Nunn's "right arm" in creating sensational smiles for our patients. If you have any questions about your dental care or treatment, Wendy is always there to answer your questions and set your mind at ease. Outside the office, Wendy enjoys spending time with her friends and her family, husband, Chad and their daughter, Emery. She is an active runner and just recently completed her first half-marathon. Amy Walker, Registered Dental Hygienist Amy is a graduate of the dental assisting and dental hygiene program at Guilford Technical Community College. She has been in dentistry for 15 years, and has enjoyed the many transitions that dentistry has undergone during her career and finds herself energized and rejuvenated with the technology, esthetics and materials that dentistry has available for today's consumer. As a team member for 15 years, she provides comfort, compassion, and a gentle hand to each of her patients during their professional cleaning appointments. Outside the office, Amy's favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband, Mark, and their two boys, Bryant and Benjamin.
