Lee Seed Farm has a sister company Lee Bean & Seed, Incorporated that specializes in purchasing and processing Dry Edible Beans. Founded in 1963 by Herman Lee, Lee Bean & Seed, Incorporated was the third plant constructed in the Red River Valley to handle edible beans. Over the years our focus has changed with the times. Originally pinto beans were the mainstay of the business. In the mid 1980's navy beans were the predominant variety, and today black beans are our largest market. In addition to black beans, we continue to handle pinto and navy beans as the market allows, and ocassionally pink and cranberry beans. Lee Bean & Seed Incorporated is a licensed and bonded elevator.
