After excelling in hockey at the University of Michigan and being a former draft choice of the Montreal Canadians, Bill put his economics degree to good use at The Equitable. Bill rose quickly up the ladder and was promoted to District Manager within three years. Bill was soon lured away by American General to run the insurance offices for all of Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota and Iowa. Seeing the opportunity to work with the highly affluent through unique marketing, Bill began building an insurance giant with Legacy Quote. Providing solutions to life insurance problems for prominent doctors, lawyers and business owners, Bill earned distinction as one of the highest producers with Lincoln Life, Travelers, Transamerica and United of Omaha. A native of Edina, Minnesota, Bill continues to reside there with his three children Christie, Bo and J.R. He is very active in the community having served on the Board of the National Association of Life Underwriters, being a former President of the Edina Hockey Association and helping being green by serving on the Edina Recycling Commission. He is an avid fisherman and golfer and still continues to coach hockey.
