Description
I have been wearing contacts for over 20 years and the acuvue oasis for astigmatism is by far the most comfortable contact I have ever worn. I have tried disposable contacts before and never liked them as much as my daily wear lenses, however, my eye doctor gave me a pair of the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism contact lenses to try and I am amazed at how comfortable the acuvue oasis for astigmatism lenses are even after having them in 12+ hours they feel like I just put them in.
I've worn contact lens for over 30 years, and 1-Day Acuvue Moist is what I presently wear, and they are right at the top of the list in terms of ovall comfort and wearability. I would strongly recommend them for seniors who are able to wear contacts.
My eyes are very sensitive. I tried other brands with no success, it was more of a hassle to wear them than glasses. So I actually only wore glasses for over 2 years - I just did not want to even attempt contacts again. Eventually got fed up with glasses - my doc gave me a trial of Aviara contacts and another brand - well I have lost the other brand - must have just fell out??? the Avaira has not given me one problem at all. This is the only brand I will use!!!!.
I have worn contact lenses for over 25 years. When I needed multifocal lenses about 10 years ago the choices were slim and not very good. I went back to glasses full time. About a year ago I decided to look into multi-focal again. I tried the Ciba Air Optix multifocal contact lenses and have been extremely happy. They are a good solid lens, not floppy or too soft, never a problem inserting or removing, and the comfort of the ciba air optix multifocal contact lens is excellent.
I have worn contact lens off and on for over 20 years and am very happy with my recent purchase of Bausch & Lomb SofLens59. After doing comparisons with other online contact lens distributors, I chose these lenses (and this company) for several reasons: 1) SofLens59 lenses are made of Hilafilcon B polymer, because I have BIG problems with protein deposits and this material resists protein build up. 2) the lenses are very comfortable and don't dry out even though I tend to wear them 14 hours/day. In the past, other lenses would make my eyes itchy after a couple of hours of wear and I would ALWAYS have to have a bottle of eye drops on hand to lubricate the lenses several times throughout the day. I DON'T have to do this with SofLens59. 3) Lens.com prices are EXCELLENT! I haven't been able to find these prices anywhere else but on Lens.com. My eye doctor wanted me to purchase his in-store lenses which ran from $30 to $40 per box! This is INSANE!! I can't justify purchasing contact lenses at $30-$40/box when I can find the SAME lenses at Lens.com for much less!! 4) I can wear one pair of lenses for about 2 weeks before I have to dispose of them.
