Liberman Sound has been in business since 1988 repairing professional audio and film editing equipment. We specialize in providing the highest quality repairs and modifications possible with state-of-the-art equipment. In 1995 we were one of the first businesses in the world to receive the new Audio Precision System Two and were again one of the first to receive the recent Audio Precision System Two Cascade with 24 bit 96 kHz capability.Adam Liberman, owner and engineer, has broad experience in audio. He has worked extensively in film production and post production sound, theatrical sound design, computer audio testing, radio production and engineering, and live music and nature sound recording. He has been repairing equipment forever, and worked in engineering and repair at SRO (a film post production house) in San Francisco from 1983 to 1990 and KPFA radio from 1984 to the 1997. In the 1990's he worked as the lead computer troubleshooter in the product test lab at PC World (the largest computer publication in the world), and authored feature articles on sound cards that included the most rigorous testing results ever published in a major magazine at the time. He is a member of the AES (Audio Engineering Society), FAF (Film Arts Foundation), Theatre Bay Area, and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). Liberman Sound is registered with the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair.We maintain the recording equipment for sound mixers on top movies and TV shows, including the current hit series' Desperate Housewives and former series' Nash Bridges, and The Wonder Years; recording equipment for radio stations and news reporters around the world; sound equipment for major film studios and documentary filmmakers; film sound and editing equipment for many schools and universities; and professional and high-end consumer gear for many others.
