Jerry Wagner is the president and chief executive officer of two boutique software companies bringing a broad range of business experience in the computing, Internet, and financial service industries. NETirement.com, Incorporated offers wealth management software. Ibis Capital, LLC offers software for the rapidly growing reverse mortgage industry. Wagner has been described as "the sharpest analytical mind we've seen in this market" (the senior market) by Ken Scholen of the AARP. Customers include Wells Fargo, MetLife, TIAA-CREF, UBS, Credit Suisse, J.B. Nutter, the AARP, and many others. Before the software business, Wagner was the Chief Operating Officer of San Diego Financial Corporation, the largest bank holding company in San Diego. In his fifteen years at the bank and SDFC, he also held positions as Chief Investment Officer, head of planning, and chair of the Trust Real Estate Investment Committee. Wagner was responsible for several billions in investments. He was the founder and CEO of San Diego Financial Capital Management, a registered investment advisory firm, and the Pacifica family of mutual funds (now part of Wells Fargo). Prior to joining the bank, he was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Teaching graduate portfolio theory and undergrad business finance. Voted among 'Top 10' best professors, University wide, several semesters in student polls (a ham plus an easy grader!). Wagner did his undergraduate work at the U of Ill. Major in economics, minors in math and philosophy, varsity swimming team, Student Union director, Alpha Delta Phi. Numerous awards for scholarship, athletics and other activities.
