Founded in 2003, Life Recovery Systems focuses on ground breaking, innovative medical devices for the emergency medical care market. Its mission is to save and preserve the quality of lives. Its first product, the ThermoSuit System, was developed with the assistance of NIH funding to provide physicians and nurses with a safe, convenient, and extremely rapid method for cooling patients.

Coan I. Knight , CPA, MBA, serving as CFO of LRS, has over 45 years of experience in public accounting. After receiving a BS degree from Centenary College in Shreveport, LA and an MBA degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, he served 2 years active duty in the United States Army and 4 years in the Army Reserves. While on active duty he worked in the Comptroller’s Office at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. He is a co-founder of KnightMasden CPAs in Alexandria, LA.

Our management team brings extensive years of experience in the medical device, cardiology, neurology, and emergency medicine specialties. We have experience in medical device product development, launch and management of entrepreneurial businesses.

Life Recovery Systems enthusiastically welcomes Lewistown Hospital, a non profit, 123-bed acute care community hospital in Lewistown, PA, as one of our newest clients. Lewistown Hospital’s mission is to provide personal, high quality economical healthcare for their community, by providing direct access to specialty services through collaboration with advanced specialty centers.
