When you place an order or make a donation through the Lifeworks ECommerce, you are required to provide a valid email address, which we may use to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, advise you regarding shipment of backordered products, and to provide you with any other notices, disclosures or other communications relating to your order. You agree that Lifeworks will not be responsible for any damage you incur, or information you do not receive, as a result of your failure to provide a valid email address.

Lifeworks operates the lifeworks.org web site (the “Site”) to provide online access to information about services available from Lifeworks, to facilitate transactions for the sale of greeting cards and other products, to accept donations, to register for events, to provide an opportunity to post employment or volunteer openings and applications, and to provide information of general interest to the community (“the Service”).

In 1996 , Dakota, Inc. was renamed Lifeworks Services and began providing school-to-work transition services to students in special education.

CARF stands for Committee on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Accreditation allows Lifeworks to provide a broader range of employment services to Rehabilitative Services clients. This process also ensures Lifeworks programs and services are of the highest quality. Our surveyors found many areas in which we excel, sighting over 25 areas of strength. These strength include an active well-qualified board of directors, a diversity of expertise in delivering person-centered services that enhance quality of life, a strong curriculum offering vocational and essential life skill training , high family satisfaction and loyalty, cutting edge technology resources and applications, and a strong partnership with community businesses.
