Our Goal : Leadership Located in the industrial heartland of the Midwest, Light Metals strives to maintain its leadership position as a supplier of fabricated extruded aluminum assemblies to major industries throughout the United States. Our high-tech, 250,000 square foot factory and adjacent engineering center are located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Twelve sales offices serve our U.S. and Canadian customers. Founded in 1947, we are now expanding beyond our domestic horizons by forming strategic alliances with key international manufacturing and/or sales organizations currently working in similar markets and sharing our world-class manufacturing approach.
