Lightner Electronics, Inc. is a full-service radio broadcast engineering firm providing design, repair, fabrication, sales, and installation of broadcast equipment, professional audio, and computer automation systems. Lightner Electronics, Inc was founded in 1992 by Matthew W. Lightner, when he worked as Chief Engineer at WPRR/WVAM in Altoona, Pa. Mr. Lightner who serves as President of the company is certified as a Broadcast Engineer by the National Society Of Broadcast Engineers. Among his certifications he has won numerous awards in the electronics field and serves on the occupational advisory committee at the Altoona Career and Technology Center.Lightner Electronics has worked with many small, medium, and large market radio stations, radio groups, and radio networks. Some of our projects include: New WQKK, WGLU, WNCL and WQXA AM/FM transmitter facilities, WVAM and WRSC directional array rebuilds, construction of radio station WBUS, new studios for WGLU, WQKK, WNCL, WMTZ, WNTJ, and construction of 19 broadcast studios with routing and distribution systems for, Accu-Weather.
