Our JustInTime Scheduler is used by thousands of physicians across a variety of specialties and practices including; Radiology, Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Emergency Response, multi-disciplinary clinics and hospitals.Suvas brings over two decades of education and experience in the research, development and marketing of software products. Suvas holds several patents, pending patents, and has authored research publications on various topics related to staff scheduling and the scheduling of supercomputers. Prior to founding Lightning Bolt Solutions in 2002, Suvas led a team of engineers in building internet products at Inktomi, Inc. Previously, he was a staff scientist at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he worked on methods to schedule massively parallel supercomputers for running Grand Challenge scientific applications.Suvas saw that decades of research, including his own, on scheduling of supercomputers provided the foundation for creating an elegant, easy to use solution that efficiently solves the inherent complexities in staff scheduling. Both supercomputing and staff scheduling domains share fundamental requirements including the need to distribute tasks equally and efficiently in the presence of complex, and often changing sets of rules with varying priorities. These interdependencies, coupled with the need to allow for ad-hoc changes were the challenges Suvas was asked to help solve.
